Patterns
In March 2024, I decided to start sharing and selling my patterns. The first one is Summer Filet Vest. Now, knitting patterns are also available.

Pattern: Huckleberry Stripes: My First Sweater
This sweater is my first ever knitting project. It is actually version 2.0. Just like my other crafts, it had been through trials and errors. Well, I have to say I'm really pleased with this improved version. Version 1.0 © Bea Kulyanee In May 2025, I needed a wool sweater for my trip to Banff. So, I decided it was time to knit my own sweater. I had about a month to learn how to knit. It seemed pretty daunting at first. I started looking up video tutorials and blogs explaining

Pattern: Love Knot Market Tote Bag
© Bea Kulyanee I made this tote bag as a present. I only have the yarn of these three bright colours left. It turned out way better than I expected. I love how it reminds me of a field of crocuses in spring. I really had fun adding dc clusters to create the illusions of petals. Try it yourself and let your imagination run wild! The downloadable PDFs of the written instructions and the stitch chart are available at my Ravelry store. PATTERN NOTES Made bottom up, this tote bag

Pattern: Rainbow of Hearts Dungaree Shorts
As Pride month is approaching, I was inspired to make this bright and cheerful dungaree shorts literally full of hearts and definitely love. © Bea Kulyanee It took me a few days to figure out the heart-centred granny square, but finally I got the one I'm satisfied with. After getting the size of the squares right, assembling them was a breeze. Using a larger hook than recommended helps to make the shorts stretchy and easy to pull up. Since it's stretchy, the totally length of

Pattern: Houndstooth Crew Neck Vest
© Bea Kulyanee Like the other creations of mine, this is a 2.0 version and made to wear in tropical weather. The first version was a V-neck vest. I did love it, and I wore it on my trip to Melbourne, Australia in late autumn a few years ago. I found that using a 4.0 mm hook made the vest too stiff. It was not easy to put on or take off. After coming back I decided to rip it. I made this 2.0 version with a 7.0 mm hook, making the vest more stretchy and comfortable. Using a lar

Pattern: Lover's Knot Shrug
I first heard of what type of this garment was called and learned how to make it from My Crochetory . Then, I designed my own. I was inspired to make it from lover's knot/ love knot/ Solomon's knot by a blanket by Yarnspirations . I really love how lover's knots look. I Version 1 Like my other projects, this is not my first version. I really should start swatching to avoid frogging. Do you make a swatch before starting your project? Anyhow, the very first finished lover's kno

Pattern: Summer Haze Shift Dress
Well, third time is a charm. Being a perfectionist as I am, I frogged it again and again. This time is the last, I promise. The yarn would be too fray if I frogged it again anyway. I think I'm happy with how this one has turned out. Let's look at all the versions first. Summer Haze Version 1 © Bea Kulyanee The first version was made in September 2022. It was too tight and heavy. I used a small hook - either 4 mm or 5 mm - because I wanted to avoid gaps between each stitch. It

Pattern: Summer Filet Vest
© Bea Kulyanee I made this summer filet vest primarily for tropical weather to wear with a halter neck blouse or a shift dress to a place where tops with sleeves are preferred. Silly, I know. This vest does not exactly cover my shoulders, but it helps increase the sophistication, which somehow makes it less frowned upon as people's attention are drawn to the craft itself. This is the very first pattern I decided to share and sell. It was exciting to learn how to write written
